Grain Theory Films is a small studio in Bengaluru that makes films and photographs for brands. It started with a simple observation: most brand content is made in a hurry, and it shows.
So we work the other way. Fewer projects, longer attention. We sit with a brief until we understand what the brand is actually about, write a treatment worth arguing over, and shoot only when the light agrees.
The name is the method. Grain is what film leaves behind when you let it be itself; theory is the thinking that earns the shot. We keep both: a cinematic eye, a considered plan, and the patience to wait for the frame.
